Why is exclusivity priced so high?
Exclusivity means you are legally agreeing not to work with any competing brand in the same niche for the entire duration. That is lost income you need to account for.
For example, if a beauty brand locks you in for 6 months, you cannot accept paid collabs from any other beauty brand during that window, even if a better offer comes in.
This calculator prices exclusivity at 50% of your base rate per month. That is the minimum that makes it worth saying no to everyone else in the niche.
